The Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe is pleased that you are interested in applying for one of our scholarships. Scholarship funds were made available for us to distribute by our benefactor, Bob Baunhausser.  Bob was a very active member of our Kiwanis Club, and he was committed to improving all aspects of our community.  He particularly enjoyed working with our youth.  When Bob passed away, he set aside funds from his estate specifically for scholarships. 

Applications are welcome from South Tahoe High, George Whittell High, local home-schooled students, trade school, or professional school full-time in the fall. The scholarships that will be awarded will not be awarded solely on academic performance.  Community service, financial need and special circumstances will also carry weight in the decisions of the committee.
