As you travel through life being mindful of and thankful for your good health
and the good health of your loved ones, please take some time to think of those
who, because of a medical tragedy or emergency with their child are forced to
use the facilities at the
Kiwanis Family House
Some of the families arrive after dealing with their child’s emergency situation with basically nothing but the clothes on their backs, and sometimes they end up staying for quite a while.
If you want to purchase personal size toiletries - or collect from hotels and motels during your travels - those small items such as shampoo, cream rinse, soap, lotion, razors, toothbrushes, toilet paper, shaving cream, diapers, baby wipes, etc., it would be greatly appreciated by those families who have a child in the hospital at UC Davis and are staying at the Kiwanis Family House.
Remember, all the items must be individually wrapped and sealed.
